Two PPG experts to discuss recent advances in transparent functional coatings
PPG (NYSE:PPG) will showcase its full line of printed electronics,
conductive coatings and display coatings, and two PPG experts will host
an exhibitor presentation, during Display Week 2017, sponsored by the
Society for Information Display (SID), at the Los Angeles Convention
Center, May 21-26.
Songwei Lu and John Yundt will present “Transparent Functional and
Conductive Coatings for Display Applications” on Tuesday, May 23, at
11:45 a.m. in West Halls AB. The presentation will focus on the
commercialization of spray-applied transparent coatings with
easy-to-clean (anti-smudge), anti-fingerprint, anti-glare and
anti-reflective functional properties.
At the PPG booth, transparent functional coatings will be featured,
along with spray-applied coatings for electromagnetic interference
(EMI), radio-frequency interference (RFI) and electrostatic discharge
(ESD) protection, as well as lightning-guard coatings. PPG supplies
these display coatings for applications in consumer electronics,
airplanes, automobiles, and military vehicles and equipment.
SID's Display Week is the premier international event for the electronic
display industry, where breakthrough technologies are introduced.
Display Week offers synergies unparalleled by any other display event,
comprised of attendees and exhibitors representing the foremost
