PPG today announced the winner of its sponsored prize package in the
Pittsburgh Penguins “Golden Ticket” sweepstakes to help celebrate the
NHL team’s 50th anniversary season. Rob Wentzel of the Dormont area of
Pittsburgh will visit the PPG PAINTS™ store at 3315 Saw Mill Run Blvd.
in the South Hills on March 9 to claim his PPG-sponsored prize as well
as a Penguins® Golden Ticket, which offers him a 1-in-50
chance to win the Penguins Grand Prize of two Penguins season tickets
for 20 years.
PPG, the official paint supplier of the Pittsburgh Penguins and now also
of the NHL®, is awarding Wentzel the use of a center-ice suite at the
PPG PAINTS ARENA™ venue, including 24 tickets and amenities, for the
April 2 Penguins vs. Carolina Hurricanes game. Visitors to the 18
Pittsburgh-area PPG Paints stores between Jan. 9 and Feb. 3 submitted
entries for a chance to win the PPG-sponsored prize package and the Penguins® Golden
Ticket.
Wentzel and 49 other Penguins® Golden Ticket recipients
will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing for two season tickets in the
FedEx Level (lower bowl) for the next 20 years, to be held live after
the conclusion of the Penguins vs. Carolina Hurricanes game at PPG
Paints Arena on April 2.
The GLIDDEN® paint brand of PPG, which is available at THE HOME DEPOT®
and WALMART® stores, also sponsored a Penguins® Golden
Ticket prize package.
