Facility will strengthen distribution network for architectural coatings business
FLOWER MOUND, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PPG (NYSE:PPG) today announced that it has opened a new, nearly
450,000-square-foot (41,800-square-meter) facility in Flower Mound,
Texas, making it the largest distribution center for architectural
paints and coatings in the company’s U.S. and Canadian network.

president, global architectural coatings and president, Europe, Middle
East and Africa. “This facility is another example of our dedication to
growing the business and strengthening our overall distribution
strategy.”
Centrally located in the Lakeside Ranch Business Park in the Dallas-Fort
Worth metropolitan area, the distribution center serves more than 1,000
PPG PAINTS™ stores, national retailers and independent retailers in the
southwest U.S. region. It can store in excess of 4 million gallons (15
million liters) of more than 4,500 unique paint and coatings products.

PPG owns and operates nearly 40 PPG Paints stores in the
Dallas-Fort Worth region and also sells its products through local
independent retailers in the area. PPG’s architectural coatings business
employs nearly 900 people in Texas.
